Precautions for steel structure processing and installation during high-altitude operations:

Firstly, the safety belt should be inspected before use, and static load tests should be conducted regularly (every 6 months).

. The test load is 225kg and the test time is 5 minutes. After the experiment, check for any deformation or rupture and keep a good record of the experiment. 4. When working on dangerous edges such as dam tops, slopes, roofs, cliffs, towers, suspension bridges, etc., stable nets or protective railings should be installed on the airside. Otherwise, workers should use safety belts instead

What are the differences between C-shaped steel and Z-shaped steel

Firstly, the angles of Z-shaped steel and C-shaped steel are different. C-shaped steel at 90 degrees, Z-shaped steel at less than 90 degrees. Therefore, when using purlins on some sloping roofs, the angle of the purlins should be considered. If the slope is large, Z-shaped steel can fully utilize its bending performance

Secondly, there is not much difference in choosing Z-shaped steel or C-shaped steel for walls. If purlins are to be made into continuous components, Z-shaped purlins are better because they overlap conveniently

Thirdly, when the roof slope is small, the bending modulus of Z-shaped purlins is slightly higher than that of C-shaped purlins, but the difference is not significant. When the slope of the roof increases, the utilization rate of the bending modulus of Z-shaped purlins that are symmetrical to the vertical increases. Therefore, Z-shaped purlins are suitable for roofs with large slopes

4. Compared with Z-shaped steel, C-shaped steel has a significant difference in mechanical properties between the strong and weak axes, and the connection to the steel frame is mostly bolted hinge. When calculating, it needs to be considered as simply supported. Therefore, from the perspective of force state, structure, and calculation results, the latter is more accurate. Therefore, in addition to the treatment needs of special joints such as doors and windows, Z-shaped steel should be selected
